Originally purchased as a gift for my daughter who drinks tea daily -- and she loves this as a splurge -- I now keep it on hand for my son who occasionally drinks afternoon tea. I would describe the flavor as complex, nuanced and balanced, rather than something overly bold or tipped toward a single flavor profile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great English Breakfast Tea We discovered Dammann tea many years ago at an upscale hotel dining room and then went on a hunt for somewhere to order it, finally discovering that Illy was the go-to source. It's a smooth English Breakfast tea with nice subtle flavor. We find if you brew one sachet in a four-cup pot for 4 minutes, you won't need/want to add milk. If you want the English strength, then brew two sachets for 5 minutes.
