WE ARE A B CORP

Our commitment to protecting the environment and communities led us to become the first Italian coffee company to receive B Corp certification.

A "B Corp" is a company that generates positive effects for the environment, for the community and for people, as it conducts its business. The B Corp movement consists of over 3,800 companies located in 71 countries, including 120 in Italy.

B Corps represent a global movement that aims to foster the highest calling for any business: the creation of value. From today, the actions of each one of us, at every level, will act as an example and an inspiration for those who believe in this model.

Our mission as a B Corp is focused on our commitment and constant improvements in 5 areas that are fundamental for creating a positive impact: governance, people, community, the environment and consumers.

GOVERNANCE

Ethics and sustainability are part of our DNA. This means that they also guide our company management policies, which prioritise reducing our environmental impact and focusing on social, human and economic factors, i.e. the goal of creating long-lasting, shared value.

In 2019, we reaffirmed our commitment to operating as a stakeholder company, taking on the status of Benefit Corporation and reasserting our choice to seek continued growth by operating in a sustainable way for the communities with which we interact, formally enshrining this commitment in our articles of association.

COMMUNITY

Being sustainable is a choice we make every day, and one we put into practice at every point throughout the supply chain as confirmation of our desire to grow by operating in a responsible, transparent and sustainable way for the communities with which we interact.

ENVIRONMENT

With our B Corp Certification – achieved partly thanks to the support of Nativa – Regenerative Innovation Company, which helps businesses to evolve more quickly towards a regenerative and sustainable economic paradigm – we have confirmed our commitment to maintaining the excellence criteria established by B Lab, in order to achieve a positive impact on society and on our planet.

CONSUMERS

Being champions of sustainability in all that we do every day shows that it is possible to act in a generative manner in the coffee sector too, acting as an example for all consumers who are committed to steering the society we live in towards a better future.
