Simply the Best
This was the best French Press I have ever used. The coffee is clean and crisp with the additional filter. And the coffee can be enjoyed hot for well over an hour.

Good. But, larger than expected.
The unit is well built and works great. It's easy-to-clean, too. My one not-so-welcome surprise is that it's big. I have (had) two French presses -- a 10 oz and a 34 oz. Had the 10 oz. Melior French Press for 20+ years. It was made of glass and my favorite. I broke it. Hence, my search for a replacement. When I read the Illy was 18 oz I thought, well good. If I want two cups of coffee, this is not that much larger. Turned out, with it's double-walled stainless construction, it is even larger than my 34 oz. glass unit.
