Fast delivery, great coffee
Next day delivery meant a lot to me as I was running out of pods. Love the taste, the best I've had. I make my espresso pod with a bit of hot milk and it comes out as awesome concentrated cappuccino. Yummy

Love my Y3.3 Illy!
I bought the Illy Y3.3 a few weeks ago and love how easy it is to use and the coffee tastes amazing. No bitter taste. It also has a super small footprint which is nice. Totally worth it.

Cheaper than competitors, great tasting coffee!
Machine is super easy to clean and maintain compared to others. I wish a wider range of espresso and coffee was available but more importantly what they have to be in stock! :) Double espresso really need to capsules, a bit of a pain but I wish they sold double shot capsules.

Amazing coffee!
I've always used Illy ground coffee which is good except when we stayed at a hotel in Santa Monica, CA, in our room we had an Illy machine which used capsules well that changed it for me and that is why I went ahead and purchased the Illy coffee machine with capsules.

Cute and compact!
Was waiting for this to restock in white and I’m so happy I got it! Love the design and how it fits in my place :)
Only thing is when I first used it the espresso shot was pulled really coarsely and wasn’t smooth. Not sure if it was because it was the first time the machine was turned on or if it’s because I pressed the brewed coffee button.

the problem is not the machine, it's coffee
In my opinion, it's a great idea as a less expensive alternative to superautomatics and so if one can approach their coffee quality in a capsule machine, then kudos to Illy. It would definitely fill a big niche in the market. I should say I only tried medium roast capsules to make stronger Americano, but the experience left me highly disappointed because of inferior quality of coffee used in these capsules. I drank real Illy coffee and liked it a lot, so why can't Illy put that great coffee in those medium roast capsules, especially since they sell only 1 kind of these medium roast capsules for these machines? If there's no good coffee for these machines, then why would need such a machine? Not sure who selects this coffee, but in my opinion the coffee quality is very lacking.

OK junior machine
This is a decent little junior machine, I would say most suitable for grad students or a gift for a teenager, if it wasn't for the price of the capsules. There's nothing to adjust, so whatever comes out, that's it, nothing you can change for the next coffee. I feel like both the pressure and the water temperature in the machine should be higher for better results. The machine is easy to clean. Overall, you get exactly what you paid for. If you are after the coffee you get at the Illy bar in Trieste (I have very fond memories of my parents taking us there once a month), you'll have to invest way more money in your morning coffee.

Cheap plastic cheap look
I’ve had this machine for a few years and decided to upgrade to a new one. The red just arrived - looks like a cheap children’s plastic toy. Just horrible cheap material. Matt plastic everything and everywhere, no longer elegant metal elements anywhere. Makes my kitchen look cheap.

Nothing special
The size is nice and compact but the plastic looks cheap and there is nothing distinctive about the coffee. The capsules are very expensive. In order to make 'coffee' vs. espresso, the water just runs through the same capsule as you press the coffee button 3 times.

Broken in less than a year
My espresso machine suddenly stopped working with no prior sign of a problem. It’s been less than a year since I received this machine, but it just wouldn’t turn on this morning. If there’s anyone who knows how to fix this, please let me know.

I received a used machine!!
I was so excited to start using my machine as soon as I received it. When I opened it, it was obviously a return (the return label was still on the box) and when I opened it, it was obviously used!!! I was so furious and disappointed and I should've listened to the reviews as there are customers here that also received a used machine..I'm regretting buying it.

Poor Coffee
I bought this because I love Illy coffee and was excited to get a machine that could make a full cup of coffee. The coffee pods are very weak and even after I adjusted the amount of water to half of the default amount, the coffee was still weak. I returned my machine even before I could finish my one pack of open pods and threw the unused one on the garbage.

I was sent a used machine
WHY WAS I SENT A USED MACHINE? The box was not even closed properly. The inside cardboard was torn to pieces. The Red Y3.3 is in rattling pieces in the box. Why was I sent a piece of crap for my money? I want a return & done - now. This is ridiculous!

Excellent customer service but horrible machine!
I bought the machine back in April, along with boxes of capsules since I liked the taste and the convenience of a portable machine so much. However, after just a month, I'd had to call the customer service twice, both due to the Espresso side did not yield any coffee, just drops of water. And today, the coffee's opening section (the cap where you pull up and push down to insert coffee capsules) broke down. This coffee machine is incredible flimsy and cheaply made, making me feel I wasted such a huge amount of money on both the machine and the capsules. Now the coffee machine is broken down (no handle functioned to properly work) I have no idea as to how to use or return the y3.2 capsules left over?
I appreciate the customer services, the staffs were all so nice and helpful in reseolivng the issue for me.
But I won't recommend the machine to any of my friends, horrible quality for an expensive machine.
