Moka coffee makers are available in the following options::
- The Bialetti stovetop coffee maker (capacity 3 or 6 cups)
- The Alessi Pulcina moka pot (capacity 1 or 3 cups) is available in silver and black or silver and red.
To prepare an authentic Italian espresso you need not only a moka pot, but also illy ground coffee
- Choose one of the following:
- medium roast, perfectly balanced between acid, bitter and a sweet aftertaste, dark roast, more complex, structured and with a bitter note, or decaffeinated

Making coffee with a moka pot (also called stovetop coffee maker) requires a few simple rules:
- 1. The water in the boiler must be cold and must be filled up to just under the valve
- 2. The coffee powder in the filter must never be pressed and must be removed from the fire, before the moka starts to gurgle.
- 3. Only this way it is possible to extract the best aromas of the coffee.
