Intenso is perfect for Jura espresso
The Intenso flavor works really well in our Jura E8. Other flavors seem to come out too sweet but this one gives great espresso flavor and does not create any issues with the grinder so far. Some of the Starbucks grinds have too much oil and gum up the grinder. Also the espresso cups that came with the first purchase are great. Perfect size, look very nice, hold heat for just the right amount of time.

Love them, needed more for replacements.
We have a variety of espresso cups in several different styles, but the standard white porcelain with the Illy logo are, indeed, the standard. So, after several years attrition sets in and replacements are needed. These are the originals and still the best!

Aesthetic Espresso Perfection
I've been enjoying making espresso at home--I am by no means a connoisseur, but enjoy the ritual and the tiny cups and spoons--and went looking for some proper espresso cups. After searching all around, I kept coming back to these Illy ones because they were the absolute prettiest I could imagine. I love the subtle glow and shine of the glaze, the curve of the cup, and perhaps most of all the thick, round handle. The cup walls and saucer are quite thick, as they should be to keep the espresso warm longer. Often I don't like prominent logos on things, but in this case the pop of red from the logo seems like an integral part of the design. These cups were quite reasonably priced for their quality and aesthetic perfection. I could not be happier with them!
