Offering quality education for the very youngest members
We've been on a mission since 2018 to bring quality education to the children of coffee producers and pickers in remote areas of Nicaragua and Guatemala. In 2022, we partnered with the Ernesto Illy Foundation to fund an educational project at Nicaragua's La Florida farm. At Guatemala's El Aceituno farm, we extended support by providing educational, healthcare, and food safety services.

In our commitment to those who cultivate sustainable quality coffee, we fund a mobile healthcare service offering dental and eye healthcare to coffee producers and their families in the Santa Rosa area. For many, this is their only opportunity to receive medical treatment.
We reforest Colombia
Restoring Colombia’s Environment
Since 2013, we have improved the living environment of coffee-growers. By the end of 2019, we reforested 70 hectares of land, installed 76 wastewater treatment systems, constructed 23 structures for managing coffee pulp, trained 99 farming families, and educated 60 Támara school students on good environmental practices.
We Support women in Rwanda
Empowering women and their communities in Rwanda
Supporting women means supporting entire communities. In 2019, we financed the acquisition of a coffee farm and the planting of around 2,500 certified-quality coffee plants, establishing a Farmer Field School for the Abahuzamugambi cooperative consisting of 38 women in the Hindiro area. In 2023, we donated pigs, which provide a source of organic compost, to stimulate circular economy processes.
We promote environmental protection
By preserving biodiversity, we support children and the elderly
We promote environmental education in Brazil through the "Viveiro de Atitude" program, involving the cultivation of over 100 plant species native to the Cerrado region. The nursery distributes these plants to local producers and the Monte Carmelo municipality. The proceeds from sales benefit educational centers for children aged up to 14 years outside school hours and local organizations supporting the elderly.

Funding a better, sustainable future
With an estimated 50% of land suitable for growing Arabica coffee at risk by 2050, we've collaborated on a groundbreaking research project to sequence the Arabica coffee genome and making the results available to everyone. This research equips coffee growers with the knowledge to adapt their plants to changing climatic conditions, including rising temperatures, prolonged drought, and heavy flooding.
We help reduce water consumption
Protecting our most precious resource, drop by drop
In 2019, our support enabled 13 coffee producers in Nicaragua and Honduras to implement a new wastewater treatment system, reducing their water consumption by 35% and preserving vital resources while minimizing our impact on the planet.
We Defend coffee culture in Colombia
Teaching professional skills for a brighter future
Our "Escuela y Café" project aims to reduce school dropouts and combat child labor. Between 2016 and 2020, the project provided students with 1,500 seeds per year, allowing them to establish productive farms after six years of school. This provided the economic resources necessary to attend university or start their own businesses.
