Moka Pot Alessi Pulcino - 1 Cup - Red

Design Profile: The 1-cup Alessi Pulcina Moka Pot is a striking example of innovative design meeting traditional coffee brewing. Created by architect Michele De Lucchi, the Pulcina stands out with its unique, modern aesthetic that redefines the classic Moka pot. The Pulcina is designed with a distinctively shaped spout that resembles a chick's beak (hence the name "Pulcina," meaning "chick" in Italian), preventing drips.

Crafted from high-quality cast aluminum with a polished finish, the Alessi Pulcina Moka Pot combines sleek lines and bold curves. It is available in various color accents, including red and black, which add a contemporary flair to its classic form.

What Is Moka Pot Coffee? The Alessi Pulcina is a 1-cup Moka pot, perfect for brewing a single, perfect cup of espresso. It utilizes the traditional stovetop method: heating water in the lower chamber, forcing steam through the coffee grounds to produce a rich, aromatic espresso. The Pulcina incorporates advanced fluid dynamics research to optimize the coffee brewing process. The boiler's unique shape stops dispensing the coffee at the right moment before any bitterness can develop, ensuring a consistently smooth and rich taste.
