About illy Coffee: Arabica Selection Colombia ground espresso, a 100% Arabica single-origin blend, brings the rich coffee heritage of Colombia's Andes mountains directly to your cup. Colombia's unique geographical conditions lend themselves to cultivating exceptional Arabica beans. We select only 1% of the best Arabica beans with zero defects, ensuring each batch of Colombia espresso grounds delivers a consistently vibrant and high-quality shot.

Taste Profile: Arabica Selection Colombia ground espresso is noted for its delicate and acidic taste, enriched with vibrant notes of citrus and red fruits. This taste profile is a testament to the lush Andes mountain range, where the perfect altitude, climate and soil conditions converge to create an ideal coffee-growing environment. Each sip of our Colombia espresso offers a refreshing brew that captivates the palate with Colombian coffee's distinct and lively essence.

Sustainability: We are committed to sustainable initiatives for our products. As a Benefit Corporation (B-Corp), our guiding principle when it comes to doing business is the creation of economic, social and environmental value for all players involved throughout the production chain.

Roast: We tailor the roast of each single-origin Arabica Selection to highlight the unique notes of each origin.

Pressurized Packaging: We employ sophisticated pressurized packaging to protect our Colombia espresso grounds from oxygen and humidity, which can degrade coffee quality over time. By sealing the container tightly, removing air and injecting nitrogen under high pressure, this method effectively preserves the coffee's rich flavors and aromas for up to two years.

Preparation Method: Colombia espresso is finely ground to achieve optimal extraction with traditional espresso machines that require ground, tamped coffee. We recommend using precisely seven grams of Colombia espresso grounds per shot. This preparation method allows you to pull the ideal shot of espresso every time, offering a velvety crema and a rich taste profile that beautifully encapsulates the essence of Colombian coffee.
