This espresso is amazing!
So the last 2 years I’ve been drinking espresso shots with some flavoring and cold foam. I decided to look into getting an espresso machine (mind you I know the bare minimum about espresso) I mostly liked that this machine does regular coffee AND espresso, I also loved the look of it. When I tell you the espresso shots are smooth and amazing flavor!!! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Starbucks, I love both the coffee and espresso from this company. extremely happy with my purchase, just came back for the 100pack of espresso pods cuz I drink a triple shot of espresso almost every day lol
I think the only thing I’m not a fan of is having to push both buttons to turn the machine off, cuz if you don’t press on them both at the same time the machine will start up again very quickly and then there’s a bunch of water spilling out lol it will automatically turn off after a while, so I’ve just resorted to letting it do that but maybe just a thought to have a different method of manually turning it off:)

Cannot complain about this value pack of 100 capsules. Drinking about 2-3 cups of espresso a day and hosting multiple parties. This is the way to go.

Great Bar aroma, every morning!
After years enjoys cans of Illy Intenso capsules, I decided to give the Classico ones a try, to appreciate the differences between the two types.
I can confirm that Classico is way more gentle and smooth on the tongue, showing a rich and well balanced taste. At the same time, the unmistakable aroma of the blend makes the Classico easy to recognize as one of Illy lineup's products with closed eyes, starting from the first sip. I did not recognize major differences between the two types, instead, for what concerns the creaminess of the upper layer that generates inside the Espresso cup. Smell is good too, at each stage: I love to smell the capsule (as extracted from the package) before brewing my Espresso, then to close my eyes and enjoy the scent coming from the cup (before taking the first sip) and then to keep the cup next to my nose (while enjoying the Espresso); also in this case, at each stage, you can recognize the Classico to be smoother and less 'tough' than the Intenso.
One last comment, concerning the individually wrapped capsules: they are easy to open, preserve the status of the capsule well (thanks to the protected atmosphere present in each) and allow an easy recycle of the wrap.
PS: still brewing espresso on my old FrancisFrancis for Illy machine (pouring it into warmed cups): years pass, capsules' design follows its natural evolution, but the 'red vintage lady' keeps doing a great job!
