We now run 5 laboratories where experts and scientists work every day to broaden our knowledge of coffee and continuously improve our products and processes. This is how we ensure that you have the most advanced equipment and service.
What Is Pressurization?
All illy coffee is packaged using the pressurization method.
This means that air is extracted from the packaging and nitrogen is introduced at pressure higher than atmospheric pressure. Thanks to this technique, coffee not only maintains it characteristics over time, but actually improves through seasoning. The aromas are bound onto the coffee particles and when the can is opened, it releases a very intense aroma.
