- Whole Bean Coffee Classico - Medium Roast

The CLASSICO roast of illy’s unique 100% Arabica blend has a smooth, velvety flavor with delicate notes of caramel, orange blossom, and jasmine and a delightfully sweet aftertaste.

Taste Profile: Classico medium roast whole bean coffee offers drinkers delicate hints of caramel, orange blossom and jasmine, culminating in a distinctive sweetness that lingers after every sip. The refined flavors and absence of bitterness make whole bean Classico coffee a choice selection for those who appreciate the subtleties of premium coffee.

Sustainability: We are committed to sustainable initiatives for our products. As a Benefit Corporation (B-Corp), our guiding principle when it comes to doing business is the creation of economic, social and environmental value for all players involved throughout the production chain.

Roast Degree: illy Classico coffee is roasted to a precise medium roast profile. We've perfected our roast curve to highlight and enhance our Arabica beans' natural taste and aroma.

Pressurized Packaging: We utilize our patented pressurized packaging to seal in the coffee's precious aromas and oils. By replacing the air in the coffee tin with inert nitrogen at a higher pressure, we extend the freshness and enhance the aroma of our beans. This technique ensures that illy's medium roast whole bean coffee maintains its characteristic taste and aroma for up to two years.

Grind Fresh for Full Flavor: To preserve the rich aroma and smooth taste of our medium roast beans, always grind your whole bean Classico coffee just before brewing. A burr grinder is ideal for achieving a consistent grind size tailored to your preferred brewing method—whether it’s fine for espresso or coarse for French press. Fresh grinding helps unlock the delicate notes unique to our medium roast.

Versatile Brewing Methods: Our medium roast beans are incredibly versatile and compatible with a wide range of brewing techniques. Whether you're preparing a rich medium roast espresso, a classic Moka pot, a clean pour-over, or a full-bodied French press, these whole bean medium roast coffee beans deliver a balanced and refined cup every time.
