Intenso Roast is a rich, chocolatte-y, smooth espresso with a wonderful taste. This is the only coffee I drink. When I have this in the morning, I'm transformed to Milan. Love this stuff!

Excellent, highly recommend!
I have very much enjoyed illy for a number of years as a coffee and now utilizing these capsules with my original style nespresso. So much better than the nespresso brand :-). Great customer service too! I also got their Forte capsules and like those too.

The Intense roast is more robust than the Classico roast but smooth to the palate. I really like the Illy aluminum compatible capsules that avoid plastic.

For Nespresso pod usage, Illy is simply the standard. Consistent good quality grounds and good packaging. Would like to see Illy have an alternative biodegradable capsule as an option.
