Reward Program

illy Lovers is the illycaffè S.p.A. loyalty programme that lets you earn points, called “hearts”, by purchasing on illy.com and at illy stores participating in the initiative.

illy Lovers has three levels (Explorer, Master and Elite), with increasing benefits as you gain more hearts. The three levels are:

• Explorer: from 0 to 2,999 hearts;
• Master: from 3,000 to 6,999 hearts;
• Elite: more than 7,000 hearts.

Upon joining the illy Lovers programme, users will receive:

• 500 welcome hearts;
• A 15% discount on your next purchase from illy.com (not valid for subscription orders);
• Other benefits based on special initiatives.

You can join the illy Lovers programme through this page, by downloading and accessing the illy App, or by visiting a participating illy store and scanning the QR code to join the programme

You will earn 10 hearts for every pound spent (e.g. £1=10 hearts; £1.62=17 hearts). Hearts are calculated based on the amount actually paid, net of any discounts, promotions and delivery costs. Moreover, for every pound spent on all recurring orders as part of an active Coffee or Coffee and Machine subscription on illy.com, or on buying machines with the X-caps or Iperespresso system, you will enjoy an even greater return: 1.5 times the standard rate. e.g.: £100 IPSO machine = 1,500 points. Points can be spent 15 days after uploading.

You can check your hearts balance at any time by accessing your personal profile on the illy App or on the website illy.com, inside the section dedicated to the illy Lovers programme > Hearts history..

Rewards can be requested from the catalogue when you reach the number of hearts indicated for each reward. After you select the reward you want in the “Rewards Catalogue” section on illy.com or on the illy App, just follow the instructions to complete the request and confirm. The hearts required will be automatically deducted from your balance. If the reward requested is a coupon, it must be used within 7 days of the date on which it was requested. After this point, the voucher will no longer be redeemable and the points cannot be claimed back.

To earn hearts, you simply need to be a member of the illy Lovers programme and make a purchase on illy.com or in participating stores. You must access illy.com using your account, or log in on the website. Once your purchase is complete, your hearts will be automatically credited after 15 days from the date of order confirmation. You can also earn hearts with purchases made in participating stores. In this case, you must save the receipt and upload it using the dedicated function on the illy App. To do this, just go in to the app, select the “Scan” function and upload the photo of the receipt (taken directly or selected from your photos). The receipt must be intact and legible. Hearts will be credited within 2 days of the receipt’s correct registration in the app. The maximum limit of valid purchases for obtaining hearts by scanning receipts is €2,000 per year, calculated from the date you joined illy Lovers. Once you reach this limit, you will still be able to continue earning hearts by shopping at illy.com./p>

The illy Lovers programme also allows you to earn hearts through other activities in addition to your purchases, such as:

• Invite a friend: earn hearts by inviting other people to join the programme, up to a maximum of 3 invitations per year (150 hearts for you and 150 hearts for your friend).
• Taking questionnaires: earn hearts by completing surveys on your tastes and preferences (up to a maximum of 3 questionnaires per year).
• Birthday bonus: get 200 hearts credited every year on your birthday.
• Special missions: activities available over the course of the year to earn extra hearts.

For every purchase on illy.com, hearts will be credited after 15 days from the date of order confirmation. For purchases made in illy stores participating in the initiative, hearts will be credited after 2 days from the date when the receipt was scanned through the dedicated function in the illy App.

There are two types of hearts in the illy Lovers programme:

• Hearts for requesting rewards (coins): these do not expire, but can be used until the end of the programme. After the programme ends, any unused hearts will be deleted.
• Level maintenance hearts (points): this is the sum of all the hearts you’ve earned in the previous 12 months, starting from the date on which you joined the programme, whether you have spent them or not. This number will be reset to zero every 12 months, starting from the date on which you joined the programme. Level membership lasts for 12 months, starting from the date on which you first joined the programme and every subsequent 12-month anniversary. If a user fails to earn enough hearts over the 12-month period to remain at the level they have reached (either autonomously or thanks to a specific level-up granted by illy), the user will be demoted to a lower level, in line with the number of hearts they have earned over the said period of time..

Whoever signs up for the new illy Lovers programme and has, when registering, an active Coffee or Coffee and Machine subscription:
- Will join the programme at Master level
- Will enjoy greater returns: 1.5 times the standard rate on subscription orders. e.g.: £100 IPSO machine = 1,500 points.
