illycaffè renews its partnership with La Triennale di Milano
Milan, March 2017 - illycaffè, the leading global company in the high-quality coffee industry, has renewed its partnership with La Triennale di Milano for 2017 and 2018. The collaboration will continue for another two years, once again proving illy’s vocation for the world of art, design and culture.
The bond between the two companies, which started in 2014 when a first three-year agreement was signed, expresses what happens when the iconic cup, designed by Matteo Thun, is used to taste the unique illy blend: taste and art come together, awakening all the senses, to offer an unparalleled experience of flavours and suggestions.
For illycaffè, it is not so much about being present in museums and art sites as an actual affinity based on the DNA of the company, which acts as a real cultural operator: from the illy Art Collections to the many activities promoted and implemented in the field of visual arts. The partnership with La Triennale di Milano follows this principle, as shown by the related events organised in the last few years, including a photographic exhibition by Sebastião Salgado, a solo exhibition by Christopher Knowles, an installation by Robert Wilson, the illy Coffee Room and many other artistic and theatrical performances.
