illy is expanding in Asia and is opening a new branch of the Univerità del Caffè in Singapore

Trieste - Singapore, November 15th 2021 – illycaffè, the world leader in the high-quality coffee segment, is inaugurating today in Singapore a new branch of the Università del Caffè (University of Coffee), the training hub that since 1999 has been striving to promote and disseminate the culture of high-quality coffee worldwide.

With the goal of strengthening its presence in Asia, the University is opening its 26th branch worldwide and its seventh in Asia, after the ones in Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Hospitality professionals and consumers will be able to follow the training path most suitable to their needs – both in person and online – by choosing from the five courses offered, which are taught by three certified docents.

Hospitality professionals can access in-person and digital courses dedicated to getting to know the unique illy blend, the processing of raw materials, tastings, and ad hoc training. Consumers can access specific training paths for a closer look at the world of coffee, with practical demonstrations and tastings.
