Terms of use – the websites of illycaffè and of its subsidiaries

  1. ACCEPTANCE AND MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS OF USE
    1. Access to or use of the websites (Sites) of illycaffè spa and of its subsidiaries ("ILLYCAFFE'") as well as the purchase of products on shop.illy.com are governed by these Terms of Use and it is assumed that these Terms have been read, understood and accepted.
    2. ILLYCAFFE' may change or update these Terms of Use, in whole or in part. Changes and updates of the Terms of Use will be binding once posted on the Sites in this section. We therefore invite you to access this section regularly to verify the publication of the latest updated Terms of Use.

  2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
    1. The contents of the Sites, such as, but not limited to, works, images, photographs, dialogues, music, sounds, videos, texts and other materials in any format, including, but not limited to, menus, web pages, graphics, colors, patterns, tools, fonts, design, diagrams, layouts, methods, processes, functions and software (individually and/or collectively called "Content") and its hallmarks and/or logos are the exclusive property of ILLYCAFFE', in its sole availability or otherwise licensed to illycaffè. The Content is protected by copyright. The Content may not, in any way or form, even partially, be reproduced, distributed, sold, transferred or modified except as specifically regulated.
    2. In the event that link codes and embed codes relating to specific content are provided on the Sites, these codes may be used by users only for their direct, personal and private use provided that said use does not take place for direct or indirect commercial and/or profitable gain.
    3. Any use of the codes and/or the Contents in violation of the limits specified in the disclaimer, or otherwise contrary to law, is illegal and will be prosecutable by ILLYCAFFE'. The trademarks and logos, including domain names, are available exclusively to ILLYCAFFE'. Said trademarks, logos and domains cannot be used in any way without the prior written consent of ILLYCAFFE'.
  3. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
    1. The Sites may contain text links (“links”) to other websites which have no connection with the Sites. ILLYCAFFE' neither controls nor monitors these websites, their contents or their rules.
    2. Any link to other websites shall not be in any way intended as activity by ILLYCAFFE' to promote said websites and/or the contents published therein.
  4. COOKIES
    Sites may contain cookies to allow users a better use of the Site. Users who prefer not to receive cookies can set their browser to warn them of the presence of cookies and subsequently decide whether or not to accept them. The browser can also be set to reject all cookies; in this case, however, the user may not be able to access all services available on the Site.
  5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    1. The user acknowledges and agrees that his/her access to and browsing of the Sites is entirely at his/her own risk and under his/her own responsibility.

    3. ILLYCAFFE' shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in any way related to the use or functioning of the Sites, including, without limitation, damages for loss of business, loss of profits, business breakdown, loss of commercial information and/or any other financial loss.
  6. REGISTRATION ON SITES
    1. Access and registration on the Sites is restricted to users over 18 years of age.
    2. The user agrees to provide any Personal Data requested during registration, ensuring that this is up-to-date, complete and accurate and to update the Data promptly, keeping them confidential.
  7. APPLICABLE LAW
    The Terms of Use are governed by Italian Law.
